  • Alert:

Due to a substantial increase in positive COVID-19 cases within Jones County, social distancing requirements, and lack of an appropriate venue available, there will be no “in person” graduation ceremony. We had hoped a live event would be possible, but we are thankful to have had the opportunity to recognize the Class of 2020 with our graduate drive thru and virtual ceremony. Thank you all for your understanding and support as we continue to navigate these changes together.

FBLA took a field trip to the Shoppes at River Crossing on 10/17 to learn more about the retail world and how it operates. Several businesses were on the tour including Southern Grace Designs, Texas Roadhouse, and Dick's Sporting Goods.  Each business explained their organizational structure and discussed potential job opportunities for students.

Jones County FBLA was represented by 4 students this past summer at FBLA National Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.  These students were Cameron Jones, Carson Merritt, Jeffrey Duncan and Dylan Joiner.  Cameron and Carson competed in Management Information Systems, Jeffrey competed in Impromptu Speaking, and Dylan competed in Management Decision Making.  Cameron and Carson made it to the final round of competition and ended up the top 15 nationwide for Management Information Systems.  JCHS is extremely proud of all of our competitors!
