Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten:  
Weekly visits for story time and book checkout
1 book per visit that stays at school
 
1st Grade:
Visits scheduled by teacher
Students may check out 1 book to take home
 
2nd Grade:
Visits scheduled by teacher
Students may check out 2 books to take home
 
3rd Grade:
Visits scheduled by teacher
Students may check out 2 books to take home
 
4th Grade:
Visits scheduled by teacher
Students may check out 2 books to take home
 
5th Grade:
Visits scheduled by teacher
Students may check out 2 books to take home
 
Students in all grades may come to the library throughout the day on a pass from their teacher.  
  
Fines:  There is no charge for overdue books. 
 
Damages: If a book is damaged and can be repaired, there is no charge.  Students who damage books beyond the point of repair will be charged for the replacement. 
 
Lost Books: Students who lose a book will be charged for a replacement.

Media Committee:

The Georgia Department of Education requires that each local board of education adopts a media policy that:

"Provides for the establishment of a media committee at the system level and at each school level." [Rule Number: 160-4-4-.01]

To be in compliance with this rule the following individuals have agreed to serve on this committee. The committee will meet a minimum of two times a year or as needed. The agenda for each meeting and minutes can be found below the list of committee members.
