New Dismissal Program and Procedures

TWES Parents: Please share this post with your facebook friends and to any others who may not have Facebook. More details to come soon.

In an effort to provide a safe, efficient and secure dismissal process under our current environment, we will require parents to remain in their cars during the student dismissal/pickup process. To help with that process TWES is piloting a new dismissal program/app, called School Dismissal Manager (SDM). It allows parents to use a free app to safely, securely approve dismissal options for your child. This will replace having to send written notes, emails or calls to change your child's mode of transportation. You will be able to authorize who can pickup your child and receive notifications of when your child was picked up, when they left on the car, bus, etc..

In the very near future, if you have an email on file with our school, you will receive an email letter from us on how to setup your dismissal information for your student(s). This app requires a valid email to begin setup. If you don't have a valid email address, please call Christy Gay @TWES (478-986-2222) to share with her and email address for use with the program. More details will be coming soon. In the meantime, check out this Parent video from SDM.
